Rooms are available to rent in this 5-bedroom houseshare in Acton. The flat is well cared for, with contemporary furnishings and wooden floors or carpet throughout. Each of the rooms is a good size, and has a double bed, and there is plenty of space for your belongings. There is a well-equipped shared kitchen, and 1 full bathroom to share on the upper floor, as well as a separate toilet room on the lower floor. All of the fittings and appliances in the shared areas are modern and well-maintained.
This part of Acton is peaceful and mostly residential. There are convenience stores, a post office, a pharmacy and even a sushi bar by the station. Otherwise the area is filled with old houses, lawns and hedgerows. It's clear that this was once a village. About a 115-minute walk away, on Kendall avenue there is an area with several well known food chains, some bars, and even ten-pin bowling.
What we liked the most
- The kitchen is modern and well-equipped, and has plenty of space for storage for all 5 tenants.
- The house is well finished and well cared for, with everything spotlessly clean.
- This calm area is ideal for people who want peace and quiet at the end of a hard day working in the city centre...
- ...which is easy to get to, thanks to the Central line, just moments away, which can bring you to Bank, in the heart of The City in 30 minutes.
Things to keep in mind
- Although a very residential area, Noel Road may get busy at times. Noise shouldn't be a problem though,as the house is set back from the road.
