Rooms are available to rent in this 2-bedroom flat on Greyhound Road in Kensal Green. You will share the common areas with the live-in landlady, but she will leave soon, and will rent out her room to another tenant. The flat is in the process of being renovated. The bedroom, kitchen, and much of the living room are finished, and have a clean, stylish, contemporary look.
Kensal Green is a quiet, residential area in the north west of London. The flat is close to Harrow Road, however, where you can find several restaurants and takeaways, and the large Mason's Arms pub. You will also be a short walk from nearby shopping on Chamberlayne Road, where you can find a Tesco grocery store. Add in the excellent connections to the city centre, from the station just moments away, and this is an ideal location!
What we liked the most
- The flat is well equipped, and includes a gas oven and stove, and a washer-dryer, which is very convenient.
- To see the quality of the finished renovations, look no further than the spotless bathroom, with its brand-new, modern fittings.
- There are lots of shopping and dining options along both Chamberlayne Road, in one direction, and Harlesden High Street in the other.
- Try out Paradise by Way of Kensal Green pub, a short walk away. Reviewers say it has excellent food and drinks, a great atmosphere, and friendly staff. And how often will you find a roof terrace in a London pub?
Things to keep in mind
- Please bear in mind that the mess in the living area is due to the ongoing renovations, and will be cleared. A sofa will replace it, and the space will be open, clean, and bright.
- Until the renovations are finished and the landlady moves out, you will also share the flat with Froot-Loops, the cat.
