This bright and spacious 2-bedroom apartment to rent in Barking, will have you enjoying east London away from the tourist. It is located on the first floor with lifts. It consists of 1 double room and 1 single room, equipped kitchen and a clean and large bathroom with a bath/shower. The double room has a huge built-in wardrobe and currently a double bed with large windows facing the main street. The single room will come with a single bed and desk (not shown in the video), and has a built-in wardrobe. The kitchen/living area has a fully functional kitchen with gas stove, oven, toaster, kettle and microwave. A brand new fridge/freezer is at your disposal along with a 2 seater dinning table. Large windows line the far side of the kitchen, letting in plenty of light.
Barking is a diverse area with many pubs, bars, banks and off licence shops at your finger tips. Right outside Barking station, which is a 5 minutes walk to the apartment, is Vicarage Field Shopping Centre. Here you will find all the big names shop as well as local independent stores. Asda Barking Superstore, which is open early and closed late, is 10 minute walk away. You also have Barking library, town hall, Abbey leisure centre, gyms and takeaway all within that same area. If you enjoy a bit of nature and a coffee by the boating lake, Barking public park is a mere 5 minute walk away.
What we liked the most
- The apartment is spacious and bright with a decent living area.
- There's plenty of storage space in the bedrooms, the corridor and kitchen.
- It's a 5 minute walk to the station which connects the overground trains and the Hammersmith and District tube line.
- The property is on a quiet, one way street, off the main roads.
