This 1-bedroom ground floor flat, for rent in the heart of Willesden, has a double sofa-bed in a large room that doubles as bedroom and living room. The kitchen is small but includes a washing machine as well as the usual appliances. You will also have access to the spacious garden on the rear of the property, which includes a large covered storage area and is shared with another apartment.

The property is next to Willesden bus garage, which means that there are multiple bus routes on nearby streets heading across the city, including to Victoria, 1 of the major train stations in London. Dollis Hill tube station, on the Jubilee line, is also only a 5-minute walk away. There are lots of small parks nearby, and while Willesden itself is quiet, it is only a short bus ride to Westfield shopping centre, one of the largest shopping centres in Europe. And for football fans, Wembley Stadium is only 2 stops away by tube!

What we liked the most

  • We love the garden space – a rarity in rented property in London.
  • The living area-cum-bedroom is large for a 1-bedroom flat, and space is further saved by having the double bed fold away to become a sofa,
  • The large window in the living area overlooks the garden, and allows in lots of natural light,
  • The flat's proximity to local bus routes and the tube makes the whole of London accessible with ease.

Things to keep in mind

  • The back garden is shared with one other 1-bedroom flat.
  • The kitchen is small, but space is saved by keeping the large fridge-freezer in the living area.
