There is a room to rent in this tidy 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom house with a generous footprint on Walkinstown Drive in Crumlin. The living room has a large, comfortable sofa with a TV so you can catch up on your favourite shows with the live-in landlady and her family. The combined dining room and kitchen is also well-equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm.
This house is a little outside the centre of Dublin, but you don't need to go far for the essentials. There is a supermarket, bank and a couple of pubs within a 10-minute walk. You're also within a 30-minute drive of Dublin Zoo so you won't need to look far for something to do on the weekends.
What we liked the most
- The house is close to public transport so you can get to the centre of Dublin in around half an hour by bus.
- The bathroom has a shower over bath, toilet and sink as well as chic coloured tiles. There is an additional, separate toilet downstairs for added convenience.
- There is a dishwasher in the kitchen so you don't need to spend too long cleaning up after cooking dinner.
- This house has heating and AC to keep you comfortable year round.
- There is a large garden accessible from the dining room, so you've got a great space to enjoy the summer sun.
Things to keep in mind
- The live-in landlady and her family have a pet cat which is only allowed in the living room.
- There are stairs within this house so it may not be suitable for everyone.
