The room for rent in this 3-bedroom house is ideal for female tenants. Walking into the 2-story house, you’ll find a staircase to the second floor and a hallway. Immediately to your right is the stylish living room, with a window to the street. It’s furnished with two sofas and a large TV placed above a fireplace mantle. A door in this room leads to the combined kitchen and dining area, although there's also a hallway that leads to the kitchen. The 6-seat dining table sits in front of glass doors that face the backyard. The kitchen is fully equipped, modern and includes a washer, dryer and even a dishwasher.
Lucan is a residential area that is a 40-minute public transportation ride from the city center. If you enjoy a peaceful neighborhood, you’ll certainly feel right at home. There are a few large green spaces nearby. Willsbrook Park, which is a 6-minute walk away, is the closest to your new home. There isn’t an overabundance of cafés and restaurants in the immediate area, but you’ll find a few local hangouts, as well as a small shopping center. The Liffey Valley shopping mall, which is a 26-minute bus ride and 6-minute drive away, offers brand name stores, as well as a movie theater. And if you want to buy groceries, there is a Lidl and Eurospar supermarket that you can get to in 20 minutes on foot.
What we liked the most
- The house is stylish and spacious, and comes equipped with a washer and dryer—as well as a dishwasher.
- You can enjoy the large backyard during warmer weather, or in winter, if that’s your thing.
- You’ll find a couple of restaurants, cafés and pubs in the neighborhood.
- A bus ride or drive will get you to a shopping mall, which also has a movie theater.
