Spotahome's opinion
The room for rent in this 4-bedroom house will best suit mature female students and professionals. The house is quite gorgeous with lots of room to stretch out your legs. The living room is wonderfully furnished with a large bookcase, TV and comfy seating. Walking toward the combined kitchen and dining area, you’ll pass a small downstairs toilet. The kitchen is huge and fully equipped. Appliances are modern and includes a dishwasher. In this area, there is a door that opens into a small room with a washer and dryer. The dining area has a 6-seat table and is located in front of a glass door that leads to the backyard garden. Upstairs, you’ll find the full bathroom, which has a tub.
Stepaside is roughly an hour bus ride from Dublin City center, so unless you enjoy being in the suburbs most of the time, it’s advisable that you have a car to live here. Otherwise, it’s a lovely community with more than four golf courses nearby. If stretching your legs on the green doesn’t do it for you, there is a riding center within a 6-minute drive. Your new home is also surrounded by some charming little villages to explore. You can walk to your local grocery store in 10 minutes. There is a shopping center and cinema that aren’t too far away. And although there aren’t many restaurants, frequenting nearby the eateries and pubs will make you feel like a local in no time.
What we liked the most
- There is lots of space in the house—and even a relaxing backyard garden.
- The house is furnished, fully equipped, and even has a washer and a dryer!
- If you don’t golf, maybe it’s time to learn, because there are four or more courses located around you.
- The house isn’t far from a shopping center, where you can shop, grab a bite to eat, or watch a movie.
Things to keep in mind
- The house if far and with no easy access to public transportation. It would work best if you have a car.
