This comfy studio apartment for rent on Árbóc u. is on the 2nd floor. The first thing you might notice about the living space is the gorgeous parquet floor. There are two windows here. The loft bed has a ladder and two single mattresses that form a double bed. Underneath is a sofa and wardrobe, and there is a TV, desk, and chair, along with tons of storage space! The bathroom is spacious and has a tub and washing machine. The fully equipped kitchen is separate. It’s also roomy and has a table and chairs.

Along the eastern shore of the Danube, Vizafogó is a wonderful area to live in. It’s a bit quieter than the party and tourist areas to the south, but it’s up-and-coming with a lot of new buildings being constructed. Still, green spaces abound. And when you’re craving tourist sites and bustling cafés, it won’t take more than a half-hour transit ride to some of the best hot spots in Budapest. József Attila Theater is nearby. The Zsilip Art Center is 2 minutes away, and there is also a health food store, as well as a donut shop around the corner.

What we liked the most

  • The large pantry is a great addition for pack rats!
  • There is a washing machine, which is convenient.
  • It’s an interior apartment. The entrance balcony has a lot of charm.
  • The neighborhood is up-and-coming.
