This inviting 1-bedroom apartment for rent on Marek Jósef u. is on the 1st floor of an attractive old building. There is a balcony off of the open-plan living and dining area, and it overlooks the street. This homey room is furnished with a dining table, sofa, and other furniture. The bedroom is also cozy and warm, and has a double bed, as well as a large wardrobe. The entrance hall is huge and it's open to the kitchen. It has two doors, one of which leads to the toilet room and the other to the bathroom. While the kitchen is unusual, it’s fully equipped and includes modern appliances.

Your new apartment in Erzsébetváros is close to the City Park, Heroes Square, and downtown. It’s the perfect base to explore Budapest. Although it is in a busy neighborhood, your apartment is on a quiet side street. You’re close to numerous museums, and there are three theaters within walking distance. The Millennium Velodrome is 15 minutes away, and the Arena Mall is a 20-minute walk out. The University of Veterinary Medicine is just down the street, which is great for students. There is also a gym nearby, although you’re likely to get lots of exercise just exploring the area.

What we liked the most

  • The facade of the building is gorgeous and you have one of the front balconies.
  • There is a Spar supermarket and Tesco Express within a 10-minute walk.
  • Hungarian and Asian restaurants are around the corner.
  • The City Park has a lake and offers lots of activities.
