Spotahome's opinion

This studio apartment to rent on Rue du Grand Cerf is ideal if you want to live in a central location. The space is cozy, but there is a huge window so that you’ll always get natural light when you want it. It also has a separate kitchen that is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher, fridge, gas stove, and oven. The bathroom is modern and has a tub, and the entire space is equipped with Wi-Fi (although it's not yet activated). While you don’t have a private washing machine, the building does have a common laundry room, which will come in handy!

Sablon is part of the city center, and therefore it’s close to almost every popular sight you might want to see. Your studio is right on the edge of Egmont Park, so along with the natural light you can get indoors, you’ll also get plenty of it by walking through these historic gardens. The immediate area has many clothing stores and boutiques, and while there are a few cafés and restaurants, you may have to walk a little farther for a greater selection. You'll find a cinema within a 15-minute walk, and the subway and tram right outside your door will get you anywhere you want to go.

What we liked the most

  • The studio is cozy, but it’s great that the kitchen is separate from the open-concept living, dining, and bedroom area.
  • With a park so close, you’ll always have access to a bit of open green space in the downtown core.
  • There are tons of shops and boutiques around the block, along with a few restaurants.
  • Both the subway and the tram are just a few steps from the apartment building.
