Spotahome's opinion

This 40 m² studio apartment is a super stylish place to live, on Avenue de Fré, in Uccle. The studio is spacious and very well designed, with clean, sharp lines softened by long curves, glass contrasting with steel, and everything carefully fitted in its place. There is a queen size bed, with a big flatscreen TV, plenty of storage throughout the apartment, and a fitted kitchen. There is also a small balcony, with extra storage, which looks out over the garden belonging to the building.

This green and peaceful area is home to several embassies, which tells you a lot about where you'll be living. There is a small grouping of shops and restaurants nearby, where you can buy your last minute essentials, but otherwise the area is residential (except for the local gym – it's just across the road, no excuses!). It isn't a long walk to find more though – less than 15 minutes to the heart of the Uccle district, where you'll find everything that you couldn't get closer to home.

What we liked the most

  • Jacuzzi. You will have one. A jacuzzi.
  • We love the cool look of this apartment, functional and yet stylish, with clean lines and distinctive design.
  • Uccle is a quiet, residential district, full of greenery, so is ideal for somebody wanting to escape from a busy job in the city...
  • ... but the apartment is also close to a little town centre area, with grocery stores, restaurants, banks, pharmacies, doctors' surgeries and more. The best of both worlds!
