A 40 m², studio apartment is available to rent in the Etterbeek area of Brussels. Situated under the eaves of the roof, the apartment's slanting ceilings lend it character as do the rustic furnishings and gingham textiles. The property is well equipped with everything from dishwasher to toaster, coffee machine and kettle.

Etterbeek is a centrally-located commune and is a popular place to live among expats as it is home to many European institutions. It is a lively area that also has plenty of greenery including Parc Léopold, the Fontenay-sous-Bois gardens and Parc du Cinquantenaire, which is only a 6-minute walk from the property.

What we liked the most

  • Situated in the attic space, the studio has a cosy feel to it.
  • There is a dryer available so you will not have to share your space with damp clothes.
  • A dishwasher is an added luxury, saving you time on washing up.
  • An oven and a bath are both bonuses not always found in studio properties.
  • This is a fantastic area for those who enjoy a multicultural atmosphere as it is home to expats from all over the world.

Things to keep in mind

  • This property is located on the 4th floor of a building without an elevator but at least this will save you money on a gym membership.
