It’s a good thing this 1-bedroom apartment for rent on Rue Sainte-Catherine is furnished, because it’s huge! The front door opens into a long hall with parquet floors. To the left is the living room. It has high ceilings and a decorative fireplace. Sunlight shines through glass doors from the immense double bedroom, which has three windows. The room also gets light through the kitchen’s beautiful arched door, which has stained glass highlights. The fully-equipped kitchen has a counter table, and you can access the bathroom from the hall or through the bedroom.

If you love a place that’s busy and bustling, Brussels City Center is the ideal neighborhood. Restaurants are the first thing you’ll notice. Asian eateries, Belgian bakeries, and even a bagel shop are just a few doors down. Shops are also plentiful, and so are supermarkets and tourist sights. Sainte Catherine Square is 2 minutes away. Vanhaerents Art Collection isn’t far. The canal is nearby. You can walk to Saint-Louis University within 15 minutes. And you’ll find a cinema and a few theaters close to home as well.

What we liked the most

  • The apartment is unbelievably huge.
  • 2 Decorative fireplaces and parquet floors warm up the bed and living rooms.
  • Stained glass highlights on the arched kitchen door are gorgeous.
  • The bathroom is also big, and has an attractively tiled shower cabin.
