This wonderful 2-bedroom apartment to rent is ideally located on Rue van Meyel close to the canal. You enter the front door into a hallway with both bedrooms, a toilet room and bathroom to the left. To the right is a closed laundry room with a washer, dryer and storage space for cleaning items. The open concept kitchen, living and dining room is not only spacious, but it’s bright with 2 sliding doors leading to a fabulous balcony. Furnishings are contemporary with 2 comfy sofas and an ottoman, shelving unit and a 6-seat dining table. The kitchen is along a single wall, is fully equipped and has a bar counter with additional stool seating.

This apartment is situated in Brussels Maritime, a new and developing area next to the canal and Tour & Taxis. The old historical city is within walking distance, and the apartment is located close to Quai de Beco, on the canal. While not quite as close, you can walk to the Belgian Chocolate Village Museum in 20 minutes. And you’ll get there faster if you take one of the bikes from the sharing station, just 500 meters away. You can get to the Danseart neighbourhood in less than 10 minutes, and the trendy Place St Catherine is nearby. There are a few cafés and restaurants in the area, and you can check them out before or after taking in a production or a lecture at the Kaaitheater, just a 6-minute walk across the canal. For a night in, you can stop by the Aldi market around the corner and cook up your favorite meal.
