This 2nd floor 2-bedroom apartment to rent on Avenue Legrand has beautiful parquet flooring and big windows throughout, giving the space a lot of natural light. The common areas of the apartment have an open concept. The front door opens into the living room, which is furnished with a large sofa bed, coffee table, shelving and a flat screen TV framed by a faux fireplace. This area spills into the dining area, which has a 4-seat table, and the kitchen. In the equipped and modern kitchen is an additional bar-style table with 2 seats, as well as all the major appliances you might need.

Ixelles is a great neighborhood to get away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Brussels. It’s a quiet area and your apartment is close to the sprawling Bois de la Cambre and the smaller Tenbosch Park. Just 7 minutes away and within the main park, you’ll find a theater, as well as a golf course. The Free University of Brussels lies at the eastern edge and is only a 15-minute walk away. With the school nearby, you’ll find plenty of restaurants and cocktail lounges, but you’re also within a 10-minute walk from the nearest supermarket and the Galeria Inno department store.

What we liked the most

  • The apartment is large, modern and wonderfully bright.
  • You’ll love all the relaxing green spaces in the neighborhood.
  • With the university nearby, there are some great restaurants and cocktail bars just around the corner.
  • You don’t have to go far to find stores or supermarkets!

Things to keep in mind
