This 1st floor 2-bedroom apartment to rent on Avenue Legrand is perfect if you enjoy a quiet living space. You’ll enter the front door directly into the living area, which is furnished with a big flat screen TV, shelves and a comfy sofa bed. This is an open-concept space, so the living room spills into the dining and kitchen areas. There is a 4-seat dining table, but there is also a bar table with stools in the kitchen, set in front of large windows and a wonderful French balcony. The equipped kitchen itself is modern and features all the major appliances, as well as smaller ones.
If you want peace and quiet, then Ixelles is the neighborhood for you. It’s an old part of town, but one that is largely residential with parks and forested areas. Nature lovers will adore being just 3 minutes away from the Bois de la Cambre park. Since the area does have a history, you’ll uncover some noteworthy sights like the La Cambre Abbey, as well as the Van Buuren Museum, which is a 20-minute walk from your front door. There are a few cafés and cocktail lounges nearby, and you can reach the Bio Shanti supermarket on foot in 11 minutes.
What we liked the most
- Not only is this apartment bright, but it’s super spacious!
- Bois de la Cambre may be the biggest park around, but there are a few other gorgeous green spaces nearby too.
- The metro may be a bit of a hike away, but the tram service is right outside your door, and it will get you to wherever you want or need to go.
- If you’re a fan of the sport, there is a golf club at the other end of Bois de la Cambre.
Things to keep in mind
- Both ensuite bathrooms include only shower and sink; there is only one toilet.
