Spotahome's opinion

The street entrance into this 1-bedroom apartment to rent on Drève du Sénéchal isn’t what most people would be used to, because you enter into the bedroom, furnished with a 19th century style sofa and chair, a coffee table and double bed. To say the apartment is spacious would be an understatement, because the open-plan living and dining room, with a sofa bed, 2 chairs and a 4-seat dining table is even larger. The sleek contemporary kitchen, which is equipped and has a small table for 2, is tucked behind a wall with a fashionable window. Better yet, there is a terrace where you can barbecue and a long grassy garden with a picnic table.

Uccle is an ideal residential neighborhood. You’re well-connected to the rest of the city by trams and bus routes. More importantly, though, it’s a pleasant and quiet neighborhood with a few nice restaurants, shops and a supermarket that’s just down the street. If you enjoy getting out and doing things, you won’t have a problem here. Bois de la Cambre Park is just a 15-minute walk away and is simply gorgeous. On the edge of the park you’ll find the Royal Racing Club, and walking through the park you’ll find a tennis club, a golf club and even a theater.

What we liked the most

  • The apartment is unbelievably huge and has an equally spacious terrace, as well as a grassy garden.
  • While the backyard of this apartment is a park unto itself, the much larger and landscaped Bois de la Cambre Park is only 15 minutes away.
  • If you enjoy sports, there is a tennis and golf club nearby.
  • The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing with a few good restaurants around the corner.
