Very spacious and well-equipped 3-bedroom house with a lovely garden is available to rent in Wezembeek-Oppem. It would make a beautiful family house with a large kitchen and dining table. There's a lovely living room with two sofas and a TV plus a separate home study if you want to work at home. The garden is very private with a paved area, which is perfect for a BBQ or alfresco dining, and a lawned area. Upstairs are the three bedrooms, two of which have their own sink, plus the bathroom decorated in lovely shades of blue and white. There's also a downstairs toilet. For extra storage, the house has a large basement where you can also keep bikes.

It's a lovely quiet neighbourhood with schools, shops, parks, river, a sports club and Planet Kids indoor play area close to hand. In one minute you can walk to the river Vuilbeek and you can enjoy a peaceful walk along here to the 3CB camping ground and Wezembeek-Oppem sports club for activities including swimming, fitness, tennis and squash. It's 20 minutes from supermarkets and restaurants while the bus stop is 2 minutes from home. You can get to the centre of Brussels by bus in 40 minutes.

What we liked the most

  • The large kitchen and dining table means you have lots of room to enjoy meals together.
  • The garden is a little gem with both a lawn and paved area for entertaining.
  • The extra storage space in the basement.
