This 50 m², 1-bedroom apartment is a bright and welcoming space, available for rent in the European Quarter of Brussels. The apartment has a comfortable open-plan living area, with a well equipped kitchen, a living area, and a dining table. The apartment is decorated in a mix of neutral colours offset by bold primaries, and is full of clean lines and angles, giving it a very chic and contemporary feeling. There is a double bed in the bedroom, and the sofa also converts to a double bed.

The apartment is located near to Square Ambiorix, in a peaceful and beautiful area of the city. The streets here are wide and treelined, and cafe-bars spill out onto the pavement at junctions. As well as the lovely nearby Squares Ambiorix and Marie-Louise, Parc du Cinquantenaire is about a 10-minute walk away. In this direction you will also find a good selction of local amenities, including a concentration of well-reviewed restaurants and bars.

What we liked the most

  • The bathroom comes with a shower over the bath, and a rain-style shower head.
  • The kitchen is really well equipped for an apartment this size, and even includes a dishwasher.
  • Civil servants working at the European Parliament or European Commission will find this the perfect area, just a few minute's walk to work.
  • Oh the advantages of living in an area full of elites and diplomats – there are some excellent restaurants nearby!

Things to keep in mind

  • There is no oven in the kitchen, but it is equipped with practically everything else!
