Spotahome's opinion
Watch your step walking into this studio apartment to rent on Pescherie Vecchie, because there is literally a little step from the hallway into the main space. From the entrance hall you can access your bathroom. It’s more spacious than you’d think, and it’s also quite modern with a terrific shower stall. Back in the open-concept space there are 3 mid-sized windows and sunlight bursts right through them. The space looks like a swanky hotel room with a fully-equipped kitchen. The living and sleeping area is furnished with a wall-mounted flat screen TV, double bed and small standalone wardrobe. The kitchen, which is roomy for a studio, has a counter with bar stools, all the major appliances, ample cupboard space and even a washing machine!
Your studio is practically located on Piazza Maggiore. It’s a great spot to hang out sipping coffee or chit chatting over a glass of wine with friends. The Fountain of Neptune isn’t too far away either, and there are a dozen more sight-seeing spots in the neighborhood, since you’re in Bologna’s historical center. Streets are lined with restaurants and fashion boutiques, but even more practical needs will be met living here. Just 2 minutes from your door, you’ll discover 3 grocery markets, 2 libraries, banks and the Galleria Cavour shopping mall. And the University of Bologna’s Alma Mater Studiorum is only a 12-minute walk away.
What we liked the most
- The studio is much more spacious than you’d expect, it’s modern, it’s sunny and it’s in the heart of Bologna.
- The proximity to Piazza Maggiore gives the area a vibrant atmosphere, even if your studio is fairly quiet.
- Cafés, bars and restaurants are around every corner.
- You can walk to some of the most popular sights in the city from here.

- Guglielmo Marconi Airport can be reached in 30 to 40 minutes by bus.
