This fabulous studio apartment for rent on Holzmarktstraße is located on the 13th floor and opens into a small hallway. The gorgeous modern bathroom, which has a shower stall, is just to the left of the front door, and a second door leads to the open-concept studio space. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a stove, oven, fridge and washing machine. There is cozy living space with a loveseat and chair, and the rest of the space is furnished with a chest of drawers and double bed. On the opposite side of the bed is a large window, so you not only get lots of light, but you get an amazing view of the city too!
In German, Mitte refers to the middle or center, which should give you a pretty good idea about the location of this neighborhood in Berlin. Your studio is located just a few minutes away from the Spree river and is close to popular sights like Alexanderplatz and the World Time Clock. Along the river, you’ll find some fast food outlets and restaurants, as well as cafés and night clubs with live music. Closer to home, you’ll find an art gallery and a cinema, which is just 5 minutes away, and several markets, including an Asian specialty store, are within a 5-minute walk.
What we liked the most
- The studio is sunny and, located on the 13th floor, you get a great city view.
- While it’s a cozy space, everything in the apartment is modern and comfortable.
- Popular tourist attractions and museums are within walking distance.
- There is a nearby cinema, theater, art gallery, and plenty of restaurants too.

- Alexanderplatz railway station, one of the busiest transport hubs in Berlin, is less than 10 minutes away on foot.
