This fabulous 1-bedroom apartment for rent on Helmholtzstrasse is on the 5th floor. There isn’t an elevator, but the walk is worth it. The apartment is spacious, with wood floors and big windows. There are also sliding doors to a small terrace. The kitchen is tiled and has a slanted roof. The living and dining room have gorgeous wood beams and trusses, and so does the comfy double bedroom.
Charlottenburg is an upscale neighborhood with wonderful restaurants, museums, and theaters. The Opera House is a 20-minute walk away. The Museum of Photography and Charlottenburg Palace are both 25 minutes away on foot. Since your new home is surrounded by the Spree and Landwehr Canal, you’ll have to walk or take the bus to many popular sights.
What we liked the most
- We loved the wooden beams in all of the rooms!
- There's a washing machine, so no need to find a launderette.
- The Opera House is a 20-minute walk away.
- The apartment is close to the River Spree.
