The first thing that might catch your eye about this 4th floor apartment to rent is the wood flooring. It’s gorgeous! And it’s not the only attractive quality about this open-plan space. The kitchen, living and dining rooms combine into a single area. It sounds crowded, but it’s not! In fact, it’s super spacious with three tall windows overlooking the street. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a movable island for extra counter space. The rest of the room is furnished with an 8-seat dining table, arm chair, sofa with a chaise, and even a desk and chair. The common bathroom is modern and has a shower stall. All three bedrooms are comfy, although there are a couple of differences. For example, one of the bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom and the largest bedroom has a balcony with a street view.
As time moves on, Moabit increasingly attracts artists. The neighborhood has some interesting historical prisons, and the peaceful scenery in parks or near Nordhafen, are inspiring to different people. Mostly, this is a quiet residential area that’s filled with grocery stores and little shops run by locals. There is an e-sports bar for gamers located 4 minutes away, and all around the block you’ll discover cocktail lounges and cafés. There are a half dozen small grocery and larger chain markets within a 10-minute walk, so you never have to worry when you run out of items. And if you want to get out for dinner, there is a vegan restaurant down the street, a pizzeria around the corner and even a billiards club just 6 minutes away.
What we liked the most
- Furnishings are practical and modern but comfy, and the largest bedroom has a balcony.
- There is a washing machine in the kitchen.
- The neighborhood is quiet, but you’ll find plenty to enjoy near the canals and parks.
- With a 10-minute walk, you’ll uncover a tennis club, public library and a gaming bar.
Things to keep in mind
- The apartment is on the 4th floor of a building without an elevator.
