The 1-bedroom apartment to rent on Zellestraße is cool and very stylish. The living room has wood floors and exposed brick walls dappled with artwork. The space is furnished with a wonderful sofa where you can relax and enjoy your favorite show on TV. In this area there are windows, as well as a French door that leads to a balcony overlooking the street.
The apartment door swings open into the combined dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is fully-equipped and has a sleek design. It’s furnished with a round 4-seat table and a window with a view to the interior courtyard. The bathroom, located close to the door, is equally stylish and has a tub, washing machine and a window. At night, you can relax into the king-sized bed in the spacious bedroom. And, since it also overlooks the courtyard, you’re sure to have a quiet sleep.
It’s a bit of a hike to get downtown from Friedrichshain. But hop on the bus and you can be at the city center within 20 minutes. Then again, this part of East Berlin is a pretty great place to stay and enjoy the nightlife. Your apartment is in a quieter part of the neighborhood, and you’re close to the serene State Park as well as museums. However, the area is known for techno clubs, bars and a fast pace. In order to partake, you need only walk toward Simon-Dach-Straße, 14 minutes away. Ring Center 2 shopping mall is a 12-minute U-Bahn ride away. There is a vintage store just 7 minutes away. And near the bowling alley, just a 10-minute walk from home, is a Lidl supermarket.
What we liked the most
- You’ll love having the balcony, but the apartment is so stylish that you’ll likely spend more time indoors!
- Those who love the night life will find tons of clubs and restaurants within a 15-minute walk.
- When you want to get away from it all and enjoy nature, the State Park is just 2 minutes away.
- The neighborhood offers other activities like shopping and bowling!
