The 1-bedroom apartment to rent on Finowstrasse opens into a narrow hallway. This is the smallest space in the entire apartment. The bathroom is larger than you might expect. It’s completely tiled and has a bathtub, wooden shelving unit and a washing machine. The bedroom isn’t super wide, but it is long and stretches out to a small balcony with a street view. Sun floods through 4 windows in the living room. Here you can sink into a comfy sofa with a chaise, sit back and binge your favorite Netflix show on the large TV. Just off this room is the kitchen. It’s equipped with everything you need. Here you can eat at the 4-seat table, and afterwards throw your plates into the dishwasher. It’s no fuss living here!
Friedrichshain is a really interesting neighborhood. On the one hand, it’s got an alternative vibe and the night life buzzes in the many bars, live music venues and nightclubs. On the other hand, you can still have a healthy lifestyle here. There is a Buddhist Temple just 4 minutes away. You can reach Boxhagener Platz Park in 8 minutes, and there is an organic food shop just around the corner. If that doesn’t suit you, there's also a liquor store a minute away. There are plenty of restaurants around serving up platters of your favorite foods. If you prefer a night in, then pick up some groceries at the nearby Edeka Markt.
What we liked the most
- The apartment has an urban vibe, but with calming touches like big windows and wood floors.
- There is a dishwasher and a washing machine, which conveniently frees up your time to do other things.
- The area is bustling with cafés and restaurants, and it has a healthy nightlife scene.
- There is a Buddhist Temple and an Organic food store around the corner.
