The front door of this 2nd floor 2-bedroom apartment to rent on Berliner Allee swings open into a hallway. On the left is the fully-equipped kitchen, which comes with a gas stove and washing machine. It has a sleek, clean design with a large sunny window, and there are some raw wood touches in the shelving, and the table with 3 folding chairs. To the right of the front door is the stylish bathroom with a shower.
One bedroom is bright and comfy. The second has a large sofa bed. In the photos, this room is currently laid out as a living room. The landlady is reorganising the room and we will get new photos soon. The bed will be the sofa bed that you can see in the photos. The landlady is happy for you to re-arrange furniture in the property.
You're living in Weißensee neighborhood, which is part of the Pankow district of Berlin. It’s northeast of the city center and home to Weißensee Park. In fact, with an 8-minute walk, you can be enjoying the beautiful grounds, feeding birds in the small lake, and even sunbathing on the beach. Of course, you’ll only be doing the latter during warm months. During the winter, you might want to check out the Salzperle Wellness Center. It has a float lounge, and it’s 6 minutes away. There are nearby restaurants and cafés, but you really don’t need to venture far for much else. There’s a gym next door, a magazine shop down the street and supermarket around the corner.
Move here to be near the Weissensee Academy of Art New York University Berlin, Strandbad Weissensee, and the Jewish Cemetery in Weissensee
What we liked the most
- The property is newly renovated with a modern kitchen and bathroom. The decor is clean and uncluttered, modern and yet comfy.
- You’ll find pharmacies, book stores and shops on your street.
- You just need to go downstairs if you want to grab a pizza or hit the gym.
- Central Berlin is a 15-minute ride away on the tram.
Things to keep in mind
- The dishwasher is hidden behind a cupboard in the kitchen. Unfortunately our homechecker forgot to show this in the video.
- You will not have a living room.
