This 1-bedroom apartment to rent on Chausseestraße is located in a wonderful building. Walking through the front door, you enter a short corridor with a modern bathroom just in front of the door. The hall itself opens into the combined kitchen and living area. The modern L-shaped kitchen is fully equipped to meet your needs, and there is a 3-seat dining table close by, where you can enjoy your meals. The living room is furnished with a sofa and a flat screen TV. A terrific balcony stretches out to the stylish bedroom, which has a spacious walk-in closet, connecting to the bathroom.
Although your apartment is located in a quieter area, Mitte is a neighborhood that bustles with artists and nightlife. Park at North Station is just a 5-minute walk around the corner and, just on the other side of the park, is the visitor center of the Berlin Wall Memorial. If you don’t mind walking, you’ll find the Friedrichstadt-Palast and Deutsches theaters within 20 minutes. Your street is lined with great little cafés and restaurants, and with a 6-minute walk, you will find the Rewe shopping market. You’ll also find the Museum of Natural History just 8 minutes away.
What we liked the most
- The apartment is cozy, modern and bright, and the view of the famous Ponte Vecchio is priceless!
- Your immediate neighborhood is brimming with restaurants, shops and cafés, and if you’re willing to walk a little farther, you’ll find a couple of wonderful theaters.
- If you like to work out, there is a gym within a 5-minute walk north on your street.
- It’s great having a park nearby, as well as a couple of interesting museums and memorials.
