Rooms are available to rent in a 110 m², 4-bedroom apartment in L’Eixample Esquerra in Barcelona. The apartment is bright and well equipped and also has a small balcony. The kitchen comes with a dining table where you can enjoy meals with flatmates or friends while there is also a living room with a comfortable sofa where you can relax.

L’Eixample Esquerra is an upmarket and elegant neighbourhood which is home to many of the Modernist buildings that make Barcelona famous, including Gaudí's Casa Batlló. It attracts a mixed crowd including many young people as it is close to some university campuses as well as having a vibrant gay scene.

What we liked the most

  • The balcony, although small, is a useful place for a quick breath of fresh air or simply for drying laundry.
  • With an oven as well as a stove, you can cook whatever you wish.
  • The bright blue walls add colour and interest to the apartment.
  • The blackboard is a fun and quirky addition and a great way to leave messages for your flatmates.
  • This location is fantastic for students as it is close to various university campuses including the Universitat de Barcelona.

Things to keep in mind

  • There is no dryer available with the property but there is plenty of space inside or out on the balcony for a rack to dry your clothes.
