Spotahome's opinion

This large, modern apartment with a live-in landlady has rooms available to rent. The apartment has 5 bedrooms, some of which are occupied by the live-in landlady and her son. Fully furnished, with a huge kitchen with all the modern appliances and a balcony overlooking the bustling shopping street of Carrer de Balmes, this is an ideal place from which to explore Barcelona.

You can find plenty of boutique stores on the main road just outside the front door. The city centre is easily accessible by Metro, with Pàdua station on line 7 a 3-minute walk away. There are also multiple parks nearby, and, if you venture slightly further afield, the district sits right at the base of the Collserola mountains, from where you can enjoy spectacular views of the city!

What we liked the most

  • We love the huge, well-equipped kitchen (it also has an oven.)
  • The apartment is spacious and well decorated.
  • There is a large flat-screen TV in the living room.
  • 3 stops on the metro and a 10-minute​ walk gets you to the mountains.

Things to keep in mind

  • This apartment is available for females only.
  • No pets are allowed on the property; however, the Landlady does own a Yorkshire Terrier.
