Located on the 2nd floor, you can take the stairs or use the elevator to get to this 1-bedroom apartment to rent on Passeig de Joan de Borbó. The apartment is airy and bright. The first bedroom is located to the left of the front door. The second bedroom is on the other side of the space and closer to the bathroom. Both rooms are relaxing, although the second one can be used as an office space or room for one. The kitchen, living and dining areas combine into a single open space. It isn’t huge, but it is modern and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and the rest of the area is furnished with a 4-seat table, sofa, TV and other decor to make you feel at home. Outside of the apartment is a private storage area, and just beyond this is a dry dock.

If you ever wanted to live near the beach, then Barceloneta is the place to be. Your new home is only 5 minutes from Sant Sebastià beach. But technically, you’re a mere 150 meters away from a spot to watch the gorgeous sunrises on the Balearic Sea. There isn’t a shortage of things to do in this area. There is a swim club just 1 minute away. OneOcean Port Vell is a 4-minute walk away. There are dozens of lovely restaurants around this area and stretching all the way to the History Museum of Catalonia. You’ll have to travel a bit farther for the big name supermarkets, but the Barceloneta fresh food market is 10 minutes from your door. And who wouldn’t prefer shopping in a more lively and charismatic spot.

What we liked the most

  • The main living area isn’t huge, but it’s open, airy and has a comfortable aura that makes you feel right at home.
  • The waterfront is only a 2-minute walk away and the nearest beach with a lifeguard is 5 minutes away.
  • You’re close to a good number of restaurants as well as a fresh food market.
  • There are a couple of museums and sightseeing opportunities nearby.
