Spotahome's opinion

With a location so close to the beach, it isn’t likely you’ll be spending too much time in this 1-bedroom apartment to rent on Carrer de Badajoz. However, if you do, then you’ll be able to relax on a sizable balcony overlooking the inner courtyard of the building. The space itself is a blank canvass to dress up as you like. The bedroom is furnished, the kitchen equipped, and the bathroom has everything you need, including a washing machine. There is an extra bed for guests in the sunny living area, and a table with chairs where you can share a meal with friends.

If you love big city life but prefer to be off the beaten track, then Via Olímpica is the place to be. It’s only a 30-minute metro ride to downtown, which is still convenient, but in this neighborhood you can avoid the typical tourist traps. Of course, during the summer months, you’ll notice a surge in visitors, because you’re only a 10-minute walk from the sand and the sea. There are tons of sporting activities and events here, and if you enjoy fish and seafood, then you’ll be in heaven surrounded by restaurants serving up the catch of the day, every day!

What we liked the most

  • The apartment has a balcony, but it’s also only a 10-minute walk to the beach.
  • There are convenient spots to grab a quick bite, but there are fresh seafood restaurants everywhere you turn!
  • While you’ll find a shopping mall within a 20-minute walk, the Palo Alto market is little more than 10 minutes away.
  • You can also reach the Olympic Port in less than 20 minutes.
