This spacious 1-bedroom apartment is available to rent on Carrer Bernat Metge in Besòs. The apartment is spacious, at 62 m², and has an open plan living area, with the kitchen slightly separated by a work surface with shelving. The kitchen has an oven and electric stove, and lots of food preparation space. The bedroom is spacious, and includes a double bed and a desk. The apartment is decorated in greys and purples, giving it an attractive, contemporary look.

This modern area of the city doesn't have the narrow, crowded streets common in the central areas. Here, the sky opens out above you, the warm, coastal sun beaming down on all. The beach is within walking distance, about 30 minutes away along tree-lined Rambla de Prim. Buses run along the Rambla too, and near the Port end, is a large shopping centre, along with the eye-popping monolithic Barcelona Natural History Museum.

What we liked the most

  • We love the decor, particularly the dining area, with a the blackboard style wall, and the shelving made from old packing crates.
  • The whole apartment is comfortably furnished, to feel at home as soon as you move in.
  • Although not a short walk, you can reach the beach easily on foot, along a tree-line avenue.
  • The nearby Metro and tram stops make travel around the city easy.
