An 86 m², 1-bedroom apartment is to rent in the L’Eixample Esquerra area of Barcelona. Decorated in an almost luxurious style with features such as colour-changing lights and an enormous jacuzzi bath, the apartment would be the perfect home for a fashionable young couple.

L’Eixample Esquerra is a stately, middle-class area with many Modernist buildings to be admired, including Gaudí's Casa Batlló. The area also attracts a young crowd, being home to multiple university campuses, and is also known for its vibrant gay scene. There is a food shop only 2-minutes from the apartment and also close by is Parc de Joan Miró, perfect for afternoon strolls or morning exercising.

What we liked the most

  • The balcony is a fantastic place to people-watch and observe the action on the busy street below.
  • You can change the colour of the lighting in the living-room - a unique and fun detail.
  • AC will be a welcome addition during the hot summer months.
  • A dryer is an added convenience - you will not have to share your space with damp clothes.
  • A dishwasher is also a luxury, saving you time on washing up.
  • This location is perfect for students as it is home to many university campuses including the Universitat de Barcelona.

Things to keep in mind

  • There is no parking available with the property but given its proximity to the public transport, you may find you do not need a car.
